The Origin
Building an Ecosystem of Support
It started with a simple belief: raw potential is distributed equally across the world, but opportunity is not. Too often, exceptional individuals are held back not by a lack of capability, but by the constraints of their zip code, socioeconomic background, or lack of access to critical resources.
The UPRETI FOUNDATION was born out of a desire to bridge this gap. We realized that short-term charity often acts as a band-aid, whereas true transformation requires long-term commitment.

We are starting small and personally supporting the initiative as we learn where we can make the greatest difference. The people behind UFI bring experience from technology, business, education, and life across India and Germany, with a shared commitment to creating practical opportunities for students and communities.

FounderDeepak brings extensive experience in technology, product development, and leadership across international organizations. He started UPRETI FOUNDATION with the aim of using education, mentorship, and technology to create opportunities for young people who have the ability and ambition to move forward but may lack access to the right resources.

Founding MemberDeepti supports the development of UFI's educational and community initiatives, bringing her professional experience and perspective as a working parent. She contributes to shaping programs that are practical, accessible, and grounded in the real needs of students and families.
A Family Initiative With a Long-Term Purpose
UFI is currently an independent, privately funded initiative. We are beginning with a focused set of programs, learning from the students and communities we work with, and building carefully based on the impact we are able to create.
Our ambition is not to become big quickly. It is to do meaningful work, earn trust, and grow when there is a genuine reason to grow.
Our Current Stage
UPRETI FOUNDATION is an independent, privately funded educational initiative currently in its early stage. We are starting small, supporting selected students and learning from the impact of our programs before establishing a formal organizational structure.
